I don't know why but right now I just feel like crying. But nothing shows more of a weakness in a man than crying. There is never a good reason for a man to cry. I should be in more control of my emotions than this.

Did you know that 'Humpty Dumpty' was never implied that he was an egg....but he still fell apart...didn't he?

Sometimes we all fall apart.

I don't think that you are being weak. I think that you are being human.

Men have all the right to cry. Don't listen to what others say. Cry as much as you want

With the stigma surrounding men crying, it actually takes a strong man to cry anyways. Not only that but you shared with us. You are stronger than you think. Big hugs.

You are HUMAN. That is reason enough to cry. I struggled for years with my sensitivity and then one day I just accepted it. I cry EVERY day. Feeling emotions is not a sign of weakness and does not make you less of a man or human being. Tearful hugs to you!

Feel the same way - but knowing that I'm not in control of any of this helps me to cry at times. It's depression, it's a terrible illness, but it's okay to cry. I wish you well in your fight against this horrible affliction.

I have trouble crying too but, it's normal to cry. It makes you feel better and relieves stress and it's good for you. People who don't cry are more likely to have health problems. If you want to cry in private then, go somewhere private and listen to sad music or watch a sad movie. Things like this can help you to cry. Also if you believe in God you can talk to him the same way you do to anyone else. The relief from expressing what is on your mind and in your heart can bring you to tears too. When the tears and sobs come give yourself over to them completely and let it flow from you. You will feel so much better.
