If you look back at my most recent posts, the one about Harvard, you'd know that I was invited to a convention there. If you've read any of my past threads you'd know I have high functioning cerebral palsy. Do you ever have those days where you just want to scream to god "why did you make me this way?" I'm not going to Harvard guys. Because I can't walk. I've been trembling in excitement for two weeks now ready to start fundraising and packing and... now I'm sitting on the edge of my bed holding in tears unsuccessfully letting my depression consume me. Trapped in the unsupportive home of my father and his fiance listening to "young and a menace" by fallout boy on repeat.

You can't attend in a wheelchair? Are you sure?

Fallout Boy on repeat? You have my sympathy.
Thanks for this!

My mom said that I shouldn't waste my money if I can't do everything. There was no negotiation. Some days I think she does that on purpose to make me upset.

Have you contacted whomever is sponsoring this program and explained your situation? Can they assist you?

Have you ever flown before? Do you have a motorized wheel chair?

You seem to be a fairly determined person. There has got to be away.

Is there a cerebral palsy association or some related organization in the Cambridge area that might be able to assist you?
