I have ups and downs. Ups coinciding with distractions I guess. I feel like I've started a hopeless descent again. I told my friend I was thinking about starting myself back on half-doses of left-over medication I still have, and she said I should go back to my doctor first. I don't know, it seemed like it'd be fine to me. I guess I wanted to see if it helps any before going back. Any advice?

I must agree with your friend: before doing anything with your medications, it's important to see what your doctor has to say...

Please make sure there are no drug interactions or serious contraindications.
If you take other meds, please be sure to check with your doctor or pharmacist. Citalopram is a very helpful med for some, it is not a benign med and needs to be prescribed with certain contraindications in mind. I will admit I will sometimes restart a med if it's an emergency. It's not the best idea. I do put a call into my pdoc. If you can touch bases with your doctor first, please do so. I hope you feel better soon! ![]() ![]() WC

Thank you, both. I sent a message to my doctor.
