1. Life punches you in the face.
2. You develop a morbid fear of Life punching you in the face.
3. You hide behind the nearest available decorative bush (understandably).
4. Life, having an excellent sense of situational awareness from playing countless hours of Overwatch only for reals, comes around the bush and punches you again.
5. You develop learned helplessness, begin to wonder if you actually suck at this "Life" thing, and become depressed.
6. You slowly realize what is going on, and learn to duck, roll, or punch back when absolutely necessary. Insight, therapy, experience and support seems to help a lot with this.
7. You also realize that although this all makes sense and looks awesome on paper, the reality of it is kind of like trying to master quantum physics theory while in third grade.
