I'm working with this mean lady. She is so loud and so rude and so so mean! My days are so long and I get so tired. It is so difficult working with her. Every morning that I have to go to work i just feel like crying and I do while driving to work.
I already have a hard time getting out of my house and I'm getting more and more depresse with every day that goes by. nightdream |

I have an idea but it might seem like something a bit much to do. Have you approached her and asked her why she feels the need to be unpleasant? Perhaps she is unaware you feel like you do. Or perhaps she is suffering from some pain herself and just doesn't realize she is taking it out on others.

This mean lady has been at this work quite some years before me. The boss will not do nothing about it and I only see my boss once a week, sometime once every 2 weeks.
I have tried to understand her, Im a good listener, I did tried. But it doesn't work. She is not only mean to me but some others too. Some others will just tell her to shut up or argue with her. But I don't. I don't think it would take me anywhere. She is a bit more mean with me because I don't say nothing. I'm too tired to say anything. I have other problems elsewhere too. And i'm so tired. Thank you! nightdream |

Nightdream,
While I agree that arguing usually does not take you anywhere in some cases like yours I think it is necessary for you to stick up for yourself. From your posts you sound like you fear this woman and that is no way to work at all!!! Have you explained that you are afraid of this woman to your boss? A job is a job but fearing for your personal safety everyday does not make it worth it. If your boss does not agree to do something then I would consider either A: Finding new work because any company that does not enforce policies to protect their employees is not a job that I would want to work for and B: Go above my boss' head. Harassment is harassment no matter how you look at it. If this woman is making you feel uncomfortable and you have asked her to stop then what she is doing is illegal! If your boss chooses to not take action to help you then he is doing something illegal as well. I know that this has to be difficult for you. Stay strong, Jessica You are in this snowglobe. It is encovered in glass and secure. But one day someone comes and shakes the globe and the pieces go flying everywhere. Now they will eventually settle but they won't be the way they were before and they can never be that way again.
