Crying can be a symptom, but usually there are more symptoms and they go for a abnormal period of time. If you spend one day crying because of something that made you sad, that's different than spending 3 weeks crying for no identifiable reason.

That said if you are concerned, please see your doctor as o it they can determine if you require treatment. Big hugs.

Crying can be a symptom of depression, but it can also be a healthy way to get some bottled up feelings out. If you have a T, i would bring it up at your next session, so you can figure out if it is a good thing for you, or not. I hardly ever cry, so when i do i am ether very angry, or i have bottled up so much that i need a release. So ask your T if it is good for you.

Crying can serve a very healthy purpose.
While crying may not feel great, it can be helping you to express some feelings.

In some other countries (other than the U.S.), people cry much more often and it's seen as natural and healthy. Sometimes, families cry together.

We aren't doing ourselves any favors if we judge our crying.

As Sad Girl has pointed out, there's a difference between crying for a day or two and crying for weeks/months.

Please keep us updated in how you are doing?

Take good care of you!
Stay safe.
