I have been recovering from depression and now that my parent is unwell I've slipped in my recovery a bit. My husband is tired of all this and is expecting me to get on with life as normal people do. I feel so alone.I cant seem to open up to my friends. With no emotional support and him forcing me to do everyday tasks on my own makes me want to cry.How do you survive without support from family.Right now,I cant go stay with someone else either.

Telling him I need emotional support doesn't help because he asks for how long. It is unfortunate that I had depression then my parent fell sick.I feel so lost.

I am very sorry for you. And i am sorry to be blunt but your husband sounds very cold and unable to emphasize thus making him a candidate for having asshole syndrome.
How has he responded to emotionally charged issues before? Did you know about his behavior in these situations?
I suggest that you don’t communicate your emotional needs with him and just spent time away from him as clearly being around him is going to cause further emotional pain.
Do you work? Do you have kids? If you don’t then may be you could get away for at least few days? May be a little separation and reflection could be beneficial.?
