except I feel I'm getting ready to snap, I'm gonna lose it. It happens so fast. I was ok, and now not. I need someone to talk to, but I have nothing to say.

Hey, I know that feeling, needing to talk to somebody and to feel kindness and empathy, yet have nothing to express.

Is anything causing you to feel like you're going to snap? Stress in life etc?

Got nothing to say -- or nothing that you think anyone will listen to?

I feel everything is against me. Nothing goes in my direction. When I do try to say something, it does not come out right and I either confuse the person or I say something stupid and walk away. I want to talk, but I don't know what people want to hear. I don't want to talk about meaningless things, like most others. Like the weather, I don't want to hear or say it is hot today, I would rather hear or say there is a high pressure system coming in. Or maybe the location of the jet stream. Or easier ways to do different things. People just don't want to hear that type of stuff or maybe they just don't want to hear me.

I'm listening and I'm interested in anything you want to say. Even if it is about the weather.

How are you feeling today?

I got nothing to say

Today I'm a bit angry. I work at a grocery store and I work outside and collect the carts and sweep and do things when I'm asked. But the manager is always asking me to do things! Things I do not want to do and things that are others responsibility. I'm told I can do anything and normally can, but that does not mean I should or want too! Today he made me do the register. I hate the register and I told him I did not want to learn it. He is the manager, why doesn't he run the register!! Nobody cares for him and I hate him, but I'm too worthless to find anything else, because I keep getting turned down.

i'm identifying with you ariesmars... when my depression first hit, the hardest part was losing my social skills... i don't know if that applies in your case but not having or knowing what to say was a real dilemma for me... i'd been so social before...

it was worse when those feelings were new, but how did i know they would last nearly 30 years? over time while it didn't ever become something i accepted, i guess i grew more numb to it.

eventually i began resenting others for not being more aware, thoughtful, caring... a bad trap...

i've spent the last several years re-learning to love again.

while some conversations still %#@&#! me off because they are hurtful to others, i've learned to forgive in most cases. but perhaps your mind is tuned to a different wavelength than most common folk. don't let it fool you that its either good or bad. everyone brings something to the table.

could be you will be the one who suggests the idea that the "commoners" fail to think of... just an idea

many job environments can be depressing... hold out the hope that what is right will come your way...

i know we all hurt and want instant remedy, but it doesn't just happen that way.. you may need to feel the pain before it gets better... i wish it will happen quickly for you...

meantime, sounds like the pressure borders on unbearable... is there anyone nearby you can turn to? friends and family can be wonderful, but sometimes professional care is necessary...

sorry for the long ramble... keep getting interrupted at work... take care and post often if needed...

I'm always wishing that people would just leave me alone.

You can talk about anything you want here. I wish I knew more about atmospheric pressure and what not.

I just about went insane today at work. They keep putting me on that job I hate and they would not let me leave. I could not even leave for a 2 minute break, even though the others took two 15 minute breaks in the time I was there. I just left and went to my normal job and went outside and walked behind the store where there is no one and I started going crazy. I was kicking a fence, hitting things and yelling! I was just about to quit, it was that bad. It is things like this that make me want to die!

PS: My name "ariesmars" is my sign and planet. I'm an aries and the planet for my sign is mars, so I put them together.

What a bummer! It sure doesn't sound fair. Don't turn the anger against yourself, please. Are you in a position where you can look for a different job?
