I'm new here. And new to this kind of thing. I guess not too many folks are up at this time of the morning.

I am going through one of those many "things" where I wonder why I am here, and if God is so loving, why He "allows" me to hurt like this.

Sorry.

Welcome to this place I'm new here,
What are you hurting about? If you explain, perhaps one of our members can offer some support, suggestions and/or opinions. "God" if that is your belief, religion is one thing we keep away from at our forums as well as politics, those are 2 subjects that can lead to heated discussions, but I want to tell you "he" doesn't allow people to hurt nor makes bad things happen to people, so I have been told by many people including clergy.
It is us humans that are capable of these things, and something we need to avoid doing, hurting and hurting others, unfortunately I think that been a challenge since the begining of man. In life so many events take place, some good and some bad, most of us can not always predict what our lives hold for us, it is a matter of us following the journey if we so choose, in fact it is the mystery of it all that can make our travel exciting, beautiful even though there will be rough crags in the road, I personally have chosen to continue my journey and accept those rough spots are sometimes unavoidable but we do get past them over time and persaverance (sp?).
Not knowing enough about you and not getting enough from your post it is kind of hard to tell what you are referring to.
I do hope I have given you something to think about, if you haven't already.
Post more, there are fantastic , compassionate, and supportive people that come to the forums that would be than happy to talk with you.
Take care now,
DE

Hi -- I've been posting about a week or two.

It's been a help to have this connection and the support that is.

Welcome.

I hope you find comfort and support here, too.

I'm new here too, and I 'm wondering the same thing.

But nevermind God, the Gods or Godesses, fairies or elves... how come we the people aren't able to do the right thing? How come we are barely able to do what each of us chooses to do, from losing weight to making the changes we need to do in our lives?

Hi misty.

Perhaps we arent meant to be able to change everything or even the simple things. Maybe doing the wrong thing is how its supposed to be. Is just "being" not enough?

Love and light

I am new here as well.
I can't say I came here looking for any answers...depression is not new to me. But I came looking for others who suffer the same thing. I am willing to offer support and what I have learned and hope to learn from you all.

I usually lurk awhile before posting but I am not really feeling too well lately and so thought I would just jump in. I hope you all will forgive my clumsiness and bear with me.
