Some questions I ask myself when some of the “experts” irl give their opinion..
Does the Opinion have many legs? I hope it doesn’t leave too much residue   I prefer it when their Opinion escapes me

My old pdoc developed a relationship with me as a patient over the course of years. I respected him and gave value to his opinions. Nevertheless, he was constrained by his own training, experience and position in a vast medical bureaucracy. Despite my respect for him, the value I placed on his opinions was not unlimited.

My dog  mastered the "fetch" command. He would communicate he wanted something, and I would fetch it.

I see a GP only, and so far fine with that. I don't want any more shrinks. They can be useful, but not at this stage for me.

I have found the System over here very unhelpful
