The one thing that helps me most when depressed is making a list of what to do, plan, shcedule.... My problem, however, is that when I fall down in in the dark, it is so difficult to start using a daily plan.

I found these videos at Youtube and hope it may inspire some of you who need some inspiration to keep going with making and/or following plans when depressed. The first is about how good habits (for the depression) might be a slow, but sure way to a better way of living with dep. The second is about how to make a plan to be able to beat the mornings.

Hi, I would just like to add based on my experience, that I find a lot of faults in myself during a depressing chapter.

I'm not saying that my lists are a complete waste of my energy, but I've learned over time that any lists made when I'm back on my feet usually are more realistic and manageable for me.

In short. I never read my lists made when I'm loony. They are incomplete and I simply cannot understand them...well at least not the way I wanted to.

In an ideal world, we would have a list for all our lists.

I can't stress the importance of a proper diet with light walking and plenty of fluids. And stay away (off-topic) from laxatives when depressed.

I could go on, but I won't. Most people sense a hostility in my tone. It's not intentional as all I want to do is get by giving myself options to share.

Schedule, schedule, schedule ...?Schedule, schedule, schedule ...?Schedule, schedule, schedule ...?

A list for my lists?

OMG, I love that! You just reminded me of an organization site that offers really good tips for cleaning and becoming more organized. They offer something they call 'office in a notebook' for $29 and it sounds
like a great investment to me. My office currently resides in several
boxes where the exact thing I need is always hiding in another box!
And lists? I'm the freakin list queen.
I'll send for it tomorrow and report back.
The site is called Bowl Full of Lemons.
