E.g. I think about dying a lot/planning etc. But I'm not incredibly depressed. Mostly just void of emotions/numb.

I can still function and eventually get down to doing things etc. all the while I'm thinking about killing myself.

Higher functioning? Idk.

But at the end of the day, the suicidal ideation is still there.

Can you be suicidal and not feel depressed?

Stranger things have happened. I don't believe there's anything that says you have to feel any particular emotion to elicit these thoughts and idealizations you have.

Do you have a therapist or anyone you can discuss these ideas and thoughts with? It might help to clear up your mind and unburden yourself a little bit.

I think you should be using your creativity in a more positive and satisfying method that doesn't end up in a pine box.

Fuel your imagination with tiny self improvements over time. Stay safe and remember that we love you.

Hi. Feelings of depression or not, the key concern here is the suicidal thinking itself. But ask yourself, 'Why do I want to stop living? What's driving these thoughts?' There must be some underlying cause.

Don't give up on hope bubbles00. There's always hope.

With my long term depression I've had since my teens , I don't always feel miserable and crying . Sometimes I feel empty , numb , lonely and pointless as well as suicidal but not particularly sad or emotional .
