So I wake up this morning and my parents are talking about my dad's niece's prom night and this conversation somehow leads to my dad saying that it's the opposite in our house about my sister going to Italy and me going nowhere.Like how they say the guys usually go out to study and the girls stay close to the hometown or in the country[I live in India]. I didn't really mind him saying that, but after that he said clear all your bachelor's degree backlogs and we can work something out and you can go back to the U.S or U.K or someplace. Why does he forget that my sister worked for a year before going for her higher studies? Does my father really think of me as such a failure? I mean I am but it just hurts to think that my father thinks that too. Feels like he feels that I'm hopeless. So this kinda makes me feel like crap. And guess what... I have an exam tomorrow afternoon, lucky me, and I can't seem to get this out of my head. I gonna try cooking because I like to cook, but don't know how much that's gonna help.
Hugs from:
