I don’t think I am not gifted or talented, I think I could succeed at anything if I put my mind into it. I’ve battled through so much to get here

But I’m scared, I have no motivation or sense of self worth. I’m feeling lonely and scared. I feel ugly and old and hollow

I’m scared, I don’t know what is wrong

I feel better every now and then but only for 30 odd minutes

I’m planning on finding a new job and moving to a new place just to start afresh but I’m scared that I will fail

Fear can really discourage progress. Something I learned at some point was that I need to embrace the fear and accept it. Accept that it's there but do what I need to despite it. I have to prove to myself that my fear will not control me unless I allow it.

very nicely put. I'll remember this too at times when I feel too afraid to go on

is it true fear or fear of the unknown. Fear of failing yourself or someone who you value the opinion of. This for me is why i rarely do anything outside my comfort zone without way to much analyzing it or someone tricks me into it.

I get scared sometimes when I move to a new place. I think this is pretty common. The place where you live is so personal. You need to feel safe and comfortable. But you'll get used to the new place. It's just part of life.

What about new hobbies or interests? Volunteer work? Everybody has value and everybody has something to contribute.

Take it a step at a time - changing too much at one time can be overwhelming & and as counter productive as analysis paralysis can be. I try and build up incrementally, if I can.

Yes, this is definitely something I can do. I’ve done volunteer work in the past

Yes I’m shooting for a much better, more challenging kind of job, but I’m not rushing it
