It certainly wouldn't be "normal" for me!
How long have you been experiencing this?

I’ve been having them for years but I sleep normally(8h) for a while (around 6monthd) but then it suddenly happens.

But I’ve been having them for 5 days approximately

Since this isn't usual for you it's a little concerning, but doesn't sound overly so because you mentioned not being tired after waking up from such a short rest. My mom only gets 4-5 hrs a night, but she's always been that way, it's rare that she ever sleeps more than that. If it bothers you then you could talk to your doc about it and see what he/she says.

Does it feel as if it might be a manic/hypomanic episode???

That was the first symptoms of mania for me and led to a bipolar diagnosis. I wasn't sleeping and was bouncing off the walls with energy, talking extremely fast and felt amazing.

I'm not saying you are bipolar, but if this isn't normal then get it checked out just in case.

Can you be bipolar if you are under 18?
