Fuzzybear, is it any cooler where you live today?
Is Papa Bear more amenable to talking and sharing?

People never understood the brain as an organ. That includes people from ancient Egyptians to poverty class till now in less developed countries. The belief that people with mental illness are bad passed down from generation to generation. And even today people think people with mental illness are violent. Not everyone with mental illness is violent.

I can give a personal exam. Since I started showing symptoms predominantly at the end of 10th grade (I was hearing voices by that point), in 11th grade I became a psychotic mess. I somehow managed to pass 11th grade and enrolled in a coaching class for 12th grade. Both the teachers and students slowly realized I am mentally ill. The teachers 'made the situation better' for the girls after reassuring the girls that they will possibly beat me if I do anything that harms girls.

I was a never a fan of rape or sexual harassment. I never groped a girl. In fact sometimes I prefer boys due to this reason. In the end I did nothing to girls even in my psychotic state, yet I still got angry looks from them. Granted I do not know how to behave, but emotionally abusing me won't lead to better results.
I am so sorry to hear of all your struggles. Your right mental illness does not make us violent or bad people. Your peers are the abusive people here and they cannot even notice it, much more to their shame. The ego has a lot to answer for.

We are much stronger in our own weaknesses.

I am intellectually disabled, but I am thankful for all the support I get through all my relatives and the internet and my college professors. If the environment becomes nice, I may be able to be an assistant professor myself of chemistry.

Go for Professor. If you want to do it, you can.

That actually leaves me with a lot of questions, like will I be tenured, will I make my students successful, will I be able to do this, etc. and my speech isn't the best either (it's schizophrenic) but I'd get a good amount of money, cure from loneliness and an almost fully happy life. I don't know what to do at this point.

Hi Rohag, it is cooler today, the first cooler day for 4 - 6 weeks (Not sure)

I took a ... oh just realised.. who needs to know

It’s interesting, I can usually speculate who is a health care professional even online (not always) - some of them seem to know just that little bit more than “the rest of us”..

Who learns to really listen in med school, nursing school etc

Or maybe I’ve “just consulted too many bad ones”

I don’t “hate doctors” but too many have hurt me, in most cases they simply don’t have time to listen so the “good” doctors get swallowed up in the burocrassy

Papa bear isn’t talking now but I missed the “best” part of the day

Hi little turtle. I prefer little turtles to the doctors in this forest.

Little turtles seem to be smarter and certainly more thoughtful..

The meaning of life: what does that mean anyway? The meaning of what we are supposed to do with our lives? Or the meaning of life itself, whether ours or the birds or the lizards, etc., i.e. all life?
I think before we start dissecting, it would be good to understand the actual question first.

Well, whenever I’ve asked myself too many questions I’ve held myself back. One day at a time... but do believe in yourself no matter what you choose.

Fuzzy....I have no answers as to the meaning of life unless you mean the Monty Python movie. Seriously, Fuzzy, my husband does the same thing and it feels so lonely. You can always talk about anything with me.

I read somewhere else ... about CEN (childhood emotional neglect. This does exist...) something like this ..

“That any children we have can share their whole self ...”

It would be nice if parental units and others who are committed to attempting to shut good people down would just stop .. but I know that’s too much to ask

Thank you Rohag and others here for being a light in the darkness
