my favorite tv show (benidorm), has officially been canceled by the network

it was up in the air for a while if their would be a series 11, but now their isn't going to be

looking through the channels yesterday I found a repeat of one of the older episodes

made me cry knowing that their won't be anymore

ever

(I even started a fan fic based on it), but it isn't the same.

Have you watched Two Doors Down?

I think its available on you tube.

It is horrible when they take shows away you enjoy.

what is it?

2 doors down, I mean

as for the show, I heard that an american network might be doing their version.. I think calling it the big package, or the package holiday, or something

even if they do, it will be a while before it arives on english screens

unless of course it's HBO.

we have a channel over here that relies on HBO content

Two doors down is a Scottish sitcom. There are 3 series and another is planned. Its about neighbour's taking advantage of one couple who always welcome them. It is very funny.

Well, everything is supposed to come to an end... perhaps find a new show?

It was on BBC2 here in the UK.

Heres a link on you tube, if you can't find it elsewhere on TV

YouTube

I hope you enjoy it

I'm sorry for your loss. TV is my favorite source of entertainment, so I totally get your disappointment, especially for favorite shows. I don't have any suggestions, though, since I don't watch many comedies.

I am from the UK, so knowing it was on BBC2 helps me a lot

I might be able to get it from the BBC store or something

or keep a look out for the new series on that channel

I don't really watch it much, but I do BBC1, and they sometimes show the BBC2 adverts

the show was the best

litirally

and now if I cry by even watching repeats.. how am I meant to enjoy what I do have?

(10 series of the best comedy ever)

One thing I have done is look up fan sites or articles that have a lot of comments from other fans. It helps me to know that I am not alone in feeling the loss. There might be Facebook pages or other such places for fans of the show. Then I have to take a break from watching the program because it just makes me feel bad. After time has passed, I can revisit the show if I feel like I won't just feel badly by watching it, knowing that it is over. Usually this means that I have to just throw myself into watching other shows that I like to try to keep me encouraged in some way.
