In my previous posts I’ve mentioned to being diagnosed with depression. I’ve had issues with my upbringing by my mom where she was abusive. She’s dead thankfully!! I’m seeking help from therapist and psychiatrist. I’m going on a downward spiral and it’s painful.

My questions how do I pick myself up after I fall down? What do I do now?? Please advise.

Hi Clarinets21. I think, stick to your daily routine and try to live a healthy lifestyle. Keep up with your therapy and be as open and honest as you can with both your therapist and psychiatrist. Reach out if and when you can, utilize online resources, and just know that even if you fall or make mistakes, you're still a good decent person. Keep pointing your mind toward the positives of life as well because, yes, depression is a difficult cloud of darkness to find your way through. One thing I do is read what others are struggling with too, to give me a certain perspective on reality.

I couldn’t have said it better!
