I feel incredibly tired tho I m sleeping a lot. I feel too tired to get up from bed and do things like housework or go out. But it's not that I feel unmotivated to do them. I want to clean the house, cook and do laundry but I feel too fatigued to do them. Even when I m lying down in bed I feel a dull headache and extreme tiredness. I feel difficulty in breathing too but here the doctor is not of much help...told me to take a nasal spray for a few days...and then let him know how Im doing. Because of fatigue I m not being able to do exercise as well. That's getting me fat and making me more unhappy. I m having a problem with my body-image. I feel fat and ugly and hopeless.

I m not that old to feel so tired all the time....How do I get my health back?

I am so sorry you are experiencing such difficulties.

Do you have any idea as to the cause(s) of your severe fatigue?

Is it the phase of your depression?
Possibly med side-effects?
An illness?

Do you feel your doctor is taking you seriously?
Have you had a check-up and bloodwork done to see if you have a condition like anemia or hypothyroidism, or another condition? How is your blood sugar?
I hope you are being taken very seriously and your doctor has been very thorough in assessing your status.

This has to be very frustrating!

I hope you find some answers and get to feeling better soon.

Yes Im in the depression phase of my MI. I m taking an anti-psychotic as well. So that may make me feel tired.

I will do the bloodworks but last time I did them the reports came normal.
In India the doctors are horrible. They don't take patients seriously or care about them.
I really don't know what to do.

I am sorry that doctors do not take their patients seriously. Do you think every doctor fails to take their patients seriously? If so, what a tragedy.

I do not know what the health care system is like for you in India. Any chance you could seek out a different doctor?

Difficulty with breathing is a serious matter. It should also be thoroughly investigated ASAP.

I hope you have some options for seeking additional medical help. It's very important to rule out any underlying conditions instead of their blaming depression, etc. Sometimes, doctors simply blame it all on depression and do not fully evaluate their patients. (Difficulty breathing cannot be blamed on depression.)

Please try to stay optimistic if you can, as doing so may give you a bit more strength than feeling defeated. Has to be very frustrating.

My heart goes out to you.
I am hoping you have some options for further care.

Thanks WC.
In India more than 80 percent of the doctors I have seen didn't care about me/take my symptoms seriously.

I was reading articles on the internet about breathing difficulties. I have difficulty breathing through the left nostril. I guess my respiratory muscles are not working as they should and that's reducing the amount of oxygen in my blood and increasing the amount of carbon dioxide, which is making me tired. I will call my doctor after a week if the nasal spray doesn't help and tell him about the respiratory muscle weakness.

I would guess that respiratory muscle weakness is a very serious matter?
please be careful. Don't wait too long.

Thinking of you.
