I have been dealing with a lot of work place depression. It started when I changed jobs. i went from being very efficient to not being very efficient at my work. I was my last job for 14yrs and I had to leave. Going back to my old job is not option at the moment. I am current on medication for my depression. It doesn't seem to be working. going to see my doctor is not option as I no longer have insurance. I would like to consider some treatment options. I like my job and don't want to give it, but it is a major change for me.

A job change by itself easily could trigger depression. Were other things going on at that time, or was other depressive fuel sitting nearby to feed depression?

Depression often reduces work efficiency. It's great you like your new job, but are you fully trained and qualified for it? Would more training or time at this new job increase your efficiency despite depression?

Feel free to ignore my questions. I wish you well.
