I hate how it replays the sad times, the scary times, the betrayals, the mean words.... and there are a lot of them.. and “worries” I don’t have an off switch it’s not as if I haven’t tried to live in the now ... why would I want all that crap in my now

Can anyone relate. or does anyone have any “advice” aside from the “obvious”..(eg meds distractions etc)... maybe some links?

I can relate Fuzzy, yes. And my whole approach [aside from meds] has been to persevere, stay strong within oneself and focus on the good. Let go, let go, and let go. It's all tricks of the mind, to me. Difficult tricks to deal with, yes, but nevertheless.
