Hi there,
I just can't leave the past alone as far as the bullying is concerned.I have tried and tried but it keeps coming up.

Ya know... I'm 70 years old now. And I still have regular flashbacks regarding the bullying I endured throughout high school. I don't know if this sort of thing ever really goes away. Perhaps talking it through at-length & in-depth in therapy might help. I don't know. I never did it. My go-to practice for managing this sort of thing is what is referred to as "compassionate abiding". Here's a link to a description of the practice in case you're not familiar with it:
