Hi there,
Along side of having depression, I also have Body dysmorphic disorder.. I was just diagnosed with BDD. |

Sorry to hear that. I had to look it up to see for sure what I thought you meant. I have a hard time accepting the reality, of what's my appearance. I guess dysmorphic means an unrealistic view? Sorry I don't know, but I do know what it's like to see what I think are flaws. All I can do is accept me as I am, because I've been on diets and they don't work, the scars, the stretch marks from having gained weight and had babies too quickly won't go away, etc. The wrinkles and gray hair,moles etc etc.... We are all imperfect and flawed, every last one of us, even the models are airbrushed to look "better". I hope you can learn to accept whatever flaw you may feel you have. I wish you the best.

Hi there,
The BDD is driving me crazy..I am constantly looking in the mirror and constantly washing my face..All I see when I look in the mirror is a monster. |
