My job, my family, my dog.

Today I am grateful for:

Not getting laid off
A warm bed
Watching my son fall asleep while watching TV like when he was little
My husband picking up my mail
Thrift stores

The sun peeking through the window in the afternoon.

I am grateful

for gifts from a thoughtful sibling
that my S.O. kindly listened to me when we differed
that my spirit can feel the goodness of others
that I am not currently flooded by panic
for the wisdom, insight, and grace of Bill and Jennifer and Monticello and MickeyCheeky

Universe, I thank you for another day of Life.

Having a relaxing day snuggled up under a warm blanket with my pets

Reaching into my purse with my right hand, grabbing my lipstick and putting it on! Yay! I wasn’t aware I was capable of this.

My friends on PC who mean so much to me

A fresh steno pad and a brand new pen to start new lists

silly morning talk shows which take my mind off my troubles for a while

I decided last week to watch it again from the start of season 1

soooo, sooo, funny!. I love it!

it's just dawned on me how many diffrent possibilities I have for music

on my tv, my sterrio, my computer, and my alexa

so all diffrent

I am grateful

that I am not someone who enjoys tormenting others
that I have air to breathe
that I already know what depression is and feels like
that someone was glad to meet me
that I can crawl into bed and not get out for a while

I am grateful

that the rain has stopped after a week and a half
for buttered popcorn flavored gourmet jelly beans
that I’m going to see my daughter today or Tuesday
that the new microwave has arrived
for sweet smelling fresh from the dryer sheets

Today I am grateful

for music and art from a kind PC friend
for thoughtful messages from several PC pals
for hot, strong coffee
that in addition to styling, my hair stylist nurtures and comforts
for hugs from my significant other

Today I am grateful for:

a family who steps up to the plate when needed
a beautiful drive yesterday
having time today to rest up from the drive yesterday
my four-footed family members
diet coke

I’m grateful for those who are supportive of all here.....

I’m grateful for people who are not into power games/power trips and cliquey behaviour....

I’m grateful for the one family member who cares about me ...

I am grateful that those abusers did not “succeed” in killing my ability to love....

I’m grateful that I’m not shackled by the definitions/perceptions/“obsessions” of “success” / “failure” favoured by the masses..

for the necklace given by two people who love me
for the supportive messages of my sister
for daylight
that I'm not a woman who is required to look like an Oscar-winning goddess

That both of mom’s doctor’s appointments went well
That my PT appointment went well and I’ll be released soon
For a beautiful, sunny day
For a delicious meal out at lunch
For getting home and relaxing after a busy day

That it's not too hot or too cold
That I made it home safely despite terrible traffic and thunderstorms
