My depression is abandonment depression. Connecting and accepting myself AS IS really helps.

The anxiety is tricky....
Valium helps but there is not enough....

I want to learn more about EMDR...

Any one had any experience of it whether first or second hand accounts?

I don't know about health.

I speculate happiness is one of those things in life far more elusive when directly sought. That is, happiness happens more often when pursuing things other than happiness.

How do you know you've eaten "too much"?

Background: I've grown interested in the effects - or non-effects - of different macronutrients in different forms. I've altered my own diet over the past couple of years, but I have not reaped any mood benefits. My biomarkers are better, but I'm not.

Me too...depressed and anxious...at times they go away but they come back again...making me miserable.

I don't know how I can work towards health and happiness...I guess we all can help each other...

I am eating too much sugar as well ... in the form of sugar itself, in the form of chocolate, nuts, soda, cream etc.

Btw I love chocolate with roasted almond and hazelnut. Yummy. And also, mocha/caramel frapuccino...I am craving for it right now as I am posting my reply.

I ate a family sized bag of fruity sweets...
(In my defense, I am sure they make the bags smaller these days)

In truth, I need the calories right now. But I did feel like I had eaten too much.

I too have made good attempts to make sure my body has all the nutrients it needs without any positive impact to my mood. I agree

i am trying two things that i hope will help my brain....
I exercise and practice mindfulness every day...
I find it very difficult but I still hope it will help me...
