((((mountainstream))))

I know this feeling, you are not alone.

It is a feeling and sometimes they can deceive us.

We manage more than we think even if it is less than others. We do our best within what our health allows.

Sending you hugs and kind thoughts

Thanks for this!

Talking to myself:

What is "failure"?
What does it mean to "be" a "failure at life"?
Do I fit that description?
Do I - or can I - "care" about meeting someone's definition of "failure"?

Do you have any answers to your questions Rohag? (If you can or want to share)

I don't think we can fail at life. We just feel that way?

Mountainstream states, "I'm a failure at life." Do all we who discuss this use the same definition of "fail" and "failure"?

Personally, I can point to both formal and informal tokens of "failure" or "non-success" in my life. My ability to feel anything, including "failure", is blunted.

It is too easy to find others who label us "failures" according to the way they see life and what they value. It can be exceptionally difficult to ignore what others think. (And it can be exceptionally difficult to determine and then internalise what we ourselves value, particularly when we swim in a social ocean filled with those proffering their own values.)

Ultimately I lack confidence in my ability to answer my own questions. I want to help Mountainstream, though.

Thank you for sharing Rohag.

I think you are right about the social ocean.

We get cut off from social interaction by those with ego's whom find them selves superior to us.

Kindness and respect towards us has no value to them.

Sending respect, kind thoughts and warm wishes to all

You're not a failure, mountainstream! You're still here and you're still standing! That makes you quite successful in my book! What makes you think that you're a "failure"? Did anything happen recently? Did anyone tell you that? It is NOT TRUE! We just try to live life the best way we can and even though we al make some mistakes, that certainly doesn't count as "failure! That's the best we can do as humans and it's ALWAYS more than enough! Perhaps you just need to be a little bit kinder to yourself and don't expect 100% perfecton out of yourself. What do you think about that? Sometimes we're our biggest critics! If there are other people in your life who are making you feel this way, cut them out! There's no place for them in your life! Just surround yourself with kindness and love such as the one you'll ALWAY AND CERTAINLY FIND HERE ON PC! Be kind to yourself, ok? YOU MATTER AND YOU'RE WORTH IT! THAT'S A PROMISE! Let us know if we can do something to help you! WE DO CARE ABOUT YOU VERY MUCH! THAT'S A PROMISE! I hope things will get better soon for you one way or another! Wish you the best of luck to your healing and your life! Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you and your family, mountainstream!
