I’m having a hard time functioning these days. I go 3 or 4 days without showering. I wear dirty clothes. I’m taking my pills only when I feel like it.

seems "reasonable" in its own way in view of this -

I'm sorry.

Meds and therapy have their place, but is there anyone in your world who can assist you with the practical aspects of the situation you are facing? In the US 2-1-1 theoretically could put you in contact with agencies that can help.

Honestly no. I’m barely hanging on. No one can help me. I have the weight of the world on my shoulders. I don’t even feel I have the strength to keep working. I also have si issues that are getting the best of me.

It’s so hard. My mom took care of my father with his diabetes and mobility issues. Now I’m left to care for him, and work full time. With my mom gone we’re struggling financially with the loss of her income. I’m also trying to have our roof fixed, and other things around the house. I feel like I’m choking and messing everything up.

I hear you, Sweetpea! That is a ton to manage! I suppose you have looked into care for your dad? Like through a social services agency? Home health care is what it is called, I think.
