How much empathy do you think you have for others? And how do you show this?
 And how much empathy do we have for our own pain?  Respect and loving kindness to all

Difficult...
 Though I have good reason to believe I have or experience empathy/sympathy for others, my depression - and the meds I take for it - greatly impair my ability to feel the feelings associated with empathy/sympathy.

My dog  mastered the "fetch" command. He would communicate he wanted something, and I would fetch it.

I have empathy for others. I try to offer support with loving kindness (words from the
).  Empathy for myself is much harder.  I have been trying... When trying to connect to my inner self, she rejects me... I have has thoughts of If I can't get on with me then maybe the people IRL are right. TS has a big tall brick wall to break down...  Sending empathy to you and everyone who needs a hug

I think I am pretty empathetic. I also think I show compassion. I think when you are empathetic or even one of those "Highly sensitive persons" that we have to be careful that our empathy doesnt put us in harms way.
