Hey!

The Australian Black Dog Institute has made a free online program for people with mild to moderate depression or anxiety. I stumbled over it while searching for something else at Internet. I have come out of my depression and have no need for it, but I thought that maybe there are people here at PC who suffer from mild to moderate depression or anxiety and don't have access to a licensed Psychologist or Psychiatrist. The program is NOT for people with Severe depressions/anxiety or for people with psychosis.

I wish that I could have fond a program for those with deep/severe depression as well, because I know that not everyone in the USA have an insurance or that they have one, but it does not cover their specific case. SORRY, but this program is only meant to for those with mild to moderate disorders.

If one wants to invest time in the program one is supposed to use it for seven weeks. Read through and decide if this is something for you:

The scientific work that has shown that the program really works:
Impact of a mobile phone and web program on symptom and functional outcomes for people with mild-to-moderate depression, anxiety and stress: a randomised controlled trial | BMC Psychiatry | Full Text

Before you decide to use it, don't forget to read the «Terms of use». Laws in Australia might be different then than laws in your own country/state. So it is wise to know about that.

I send my good wishes to the PC members!
