There are so many people pushing me to go to a mental hospital. How can I make them understand how horrible it is? I just can't do it. I can't go back. Yet I am told that "If you go to the right facility it will be better." They are all basically the same. this is not helping me.

I've been on the psych wards of 2 different hospitals. And, you're right, they were just variations on a theme... & not a particularly good one either. Unfortunately I don't know how you make people who haven't been there understand. I'm afraid you probably can't. You simply have to stand your ground. Following one of my hospitalizations I participated in a partial hospital program. And while that wasn't perfect either it was certainly better than the psych ward.

Yeah sadly the last IOP program I went to called the cops on me. Then took over a month to refund my money. Yet they wanted payment upfront.
