Hey everyone,

Lately I’ve noticed a pattern where I’ll feel incredibly motivated for a few days and it’ll feel great! But then I’ll always be extremely unmotivated and exhausted a few days later. Anybody have experience with this and tips to manage this pattern? Would love to hear your guys' experiences.

Dear terryberry43,

Something like that happens to me too. I don't have any technique for dealing with it. I usually just slack off or just push through. Hope others will see your post and respond to it with something really helpful!

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen

Certainly! It takes a lot of effort to have hope.

Good Lord, that's all I've been going through since this pandemic started. It used to be a few days of motivation, then a few days of not being able to do anything.

I thought that was bad, but now it's more like two weeks I can't get motivated to do ANYTHING. Then a day or two I get sort of motivated.

I was so excited a couple days ago, getting stuff done again, feeling some hope. And now I'm super down, and been wishing I was dead for two days.

I've found no answers to this cycle.
