I got the idea that perhaps it may help somebody to look at their treatment plan and see if it is working. If it is not working, what can be changed to have a better life? If it is working, give yourself a pat on the back!

Is your plan taking you where you hope to come (with regard to wellness)?

Items in my treatment plan is for the time being:

Medication, for the moment not in therapy, daily structures (schedules), try to eat healthy, physical activities, social relationships, take care of all physical illnesses and follow GP's advice, focus on economical situation, never try to do more that what is managable in my situation. (Realism).

Long term goals: No specific for the moment (I cannot cure what cannot be cured, only live as best as possible). I want to continue to live well with my chronic depression and with chronic physical disorders. To me following the items in my daily treatment plan are goals in themselves that gives me big rewards because of my ability to go for vacation once a year.

When I am vaccinated I hope to invite guests more often. I like making delicious meals now and then (my economy does not allow too many of such social events. I like to take photos and hope to do more of that after the isolation (after the vaccination). May be it is right to say that to have as many social arenas where I feel well is my most important goal I have other hobbies as well (my economy and/or general health allows or set borders). I hope to be able to work part time.

Hope some of you may find this thread useful with regard to if you are on the right path with how you relate to your depression! Please don't be scared if my plans seem a bit ambitious. I know myself well (have had a good therapy). Not all are so privileged that they find a therapist that is affordable and that one connects with.

To all: Take care!

Thank you for creating this thread. Treatment and prevention plans are an important part of recovery.

Items: I'm using a dehumidifier to help me sleep at night. My routine with my dogs helps me get time outside and up early mornings. I also keep chores scheduled and have added a bit of pampering into my evening beauty routine.

Long-term goals: Honestly, the only goal I have right now is keeping things the same. So much of my life has been moved around and lost. I want to stay in one place and build my relationships, confidence, skills and routines.

Hopefully I am able to keep up with making improvements on myself and my daily life without burdening others to the point of a blow-out.
