I've been locking myself in my house since a year ago, barely going anywhere. Whenever I do go outside though, it's always for work. I'm a fresh graduate, fortunately getting my first remote job. Currently, I live with 6 family members (mostly elders and adults aged >50). I'm the only 20s here.

My family is dysfunctional. Full of negativity, anxiety, sarcasm, coldness (except my grandparents, they're really warm). In my house, I often lock myself in my room because it can be very overwhelming. Also, I recently had a breakup with my 5-year long-distance boyfriend, but because we used to lack communication it doesn't really affect me (or maybe I'm just numb Idk lol). Fortunately, I have very supportive girlfriends, but I can't meet them, and talking to my phone doesn't seem to ease my pain anymore.

Whenever I feel overwhelmed I used to go outside and let myself relax in a cafe (alone or with some friends), I'm a hardcore extrovert. My town isn't the safest place for a girl to go out sitting in a random park (and there aren't many of them anyway, it's a busy metropole city). And most people here are really ignorant of the health protocol. I'm really afraid of going back to my house and spreading the virus to my family, it would make me feel really guilty, scared, and ashamed.

What would you do if you were in my position?

It sounds like you are doing what you can...this is a very difficult time. (((hug))) Do keep talking with supportive friends and if there is a place out of doors you can go and relax safely for even a short time each day it might help. (or even doing exercises in your room, whether just stretching or aerobic....) Good for you for getting your first post grad job! Hang in there, this will get better...but it sure is a long struggle.
