Yes. I sometimes think this sort of "blue sky" thought can do as much harm as it does good. The reality is (at least for me) things simply are the way they are. They're not going to change. And there's no way for them to get any better. So, the "fall-back position" (again... at least for me) is simple acceptance. Everything just is what it is. And, over time, I have learned to live with that. Hopefully you can too if that's all you can muster. Best wishes...
