My friend said I was too needy. She had said I could talk to her any time. I feel sick.

I don't know, but I don't think it's a good idea or helpful to judge other people unless one has walked a lifetime in their shoes.

So I don't think the comment about you being too needy is either accurate or fair. It is not fair to you for one thing. And for another thing, it is not fair to truth itself and fairness itself.

It is still shocking to me that people who know maybe a few things out of the trillion that make up our lives are so foolishly bold as to make pronouncements about us.

Only an Infinite Being could see the sum total of our lives and make judgements.

The idea that some person in your life, even a friend could attempt to "sum you up" in a word or phrase is grossly over-simplistic and unfair.

At least that's how to seems to me.
