*sigh* i feel like a few of my best friends are gonna leave me because they are tired of me being depressed and of hearing me complain...they think i am being fake and trying to get attention..they have ni idea of what i deal with everyday and them doing this doesn't help any...i don't think i'm gonna make it anymore..one day i'm just going to pop and be done with life.

I struggle with that too and what I try to think is, true friends are hard to come by and true friends stick close by good and bad, others will pass with time, but the true ones are there in the end.

Hope this helps? I have the same problem right now, but I am trying to not make it all about me, I tend to do that, it is probably something they are dealing with and it may be their issue and not yours,. One thing I have learned lately is we have no control over what other people will feel, think or do, no matter how hard we try, they are entitled to their own opinions, feelings and behavior.

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL RISSIE. i have the same problem w/my friends and more so w/my family. It's a continuous illness w/me and I kinda think maybe my family is afraid of me and what I might do. I only communicate w/friends over the internet or phone. I haven't been out w/anyone since I moved to NC. But I know how you feel and just as everyone else has been so supportive to me I will do the same for you. This is one friend that will never leave. puckyjan

That is simply ignorance. Many people don't know depression as a disease, and they can't figure out what it feels like (god bless them!)
