What do you expect out of depression support? What do you get out of it......I am wondering because this just may not be my best way of seeking support but I think I expect more than any website can give...and I really don't know what it is but it is what I have been looking for on the web........I have two good 3 d support groups but due to work schedules I have not been too involved with them so here I am.....Quesera

The beauty of a support site like this is that you can come here whenever you want, pick and choose what you want to talk about and know that you are getting support from other people just like you. People who truly understand. And start helping other people in the process. What do you expect out of depression support?

Nice to meet you. What do you expect out of depression support?

For me it's an outlet. A way to open my head and let everything pour out. If I don't have that, my head becomes a prison.

Beyond that, you do find yourself caring about the people here and on some level you feel that if you can help them, you help yourself.

So PC doesn't cure anyone, but it's an excellent coping mechanism.
