the lawyer i had for my car accident told me today they can't help me because the medical records are saying it was a suicidal act. if it was I would not be here.

Yes, that's very tricky. I'm not an attorney, so I don't know how you can fight it, but I would suggest finding someone who is - doing a little research on the web might be good. There's gotta be an appeals process right?

I know it can be hard to try to get this sort of stuff straightened out when you feel as you do, so give it some time if you can.

Usually they ask to get an opinion of a therapist before making that judgment. Have you been to see one?

I'm sooo #%*!@ off! I have a phys doc I've seen twice and will see her again on april 7 and I will tell her everything about this and see if she can do anything. This is not right, I'm getting screwed! How can you get medical records changed, because they are lying!

there ya go aries.. that sounds reasonable... have the paperwork and notes ready and practice how you will speak to her calmly... she will be able to hear better...
