What do you do when you get no pleasure from anything anymore, can't make decisions, and want to stay in bed all day? I've been having more and more of these days. apathy

hi violet66,

its very hard to get much accomplished when feeling this way.. i think the 'wanting to stay in bed all day' part might be the result of the other difficulties you are having right now, so maybe if you can work on the other two, hopefully you will have the energy to o the things you decide to do..

its horrible to feel that there is no pleasure in anything anymore.. maybe those things you did before dont have the same appeal they once did because you've outgrown them? or maybe you are looking for the right friends to do those things together with?

maybe these feelings will pass and you will find there is some enjoyment in some things but there's certain ways it could be more enjoyable for you... take some time to analyze all the things you used to do and see what might make them enjoyable again or try to find new activities and some of the pleasure may come back...

sorry you are struggling with this right now, hang in there

I am sorry that you are going through this difficult time, I seem to have a lot of days that I would rather stay in bed all day too. I have been trying to make myself do at least some of the things that I used to enjoy and it was difficult at first but I do seem to feel a little better. I don't know if it would help you to try that or not. apathy
