new therapist and depression hi there,I was going to a clinic for 10 years, I am 64 it was find, then they change started to scare me in session 4 new therapist in a year. so I was not getting anything from the session but bad feelings. so I stop going they called to give me another therapist. fear set in, I started to panic,I was traggger by the clinic, so for first time I knew I had to take control of me and who my therapist is,I got a new one now, I feel somewhat incharge of my therapy, in a private office and not a clinic. it,s so importan to trust your therapist.when you have a delusional illness they really do not hear or believe you.rdoc

Congrats for taking the first step in taking control of your life. Hope things work out for you in the private sessions. Another thing you could check out is support groups in your area, they help as well.
Good luck, for you are very important!
