but I'm mad and there must be something wrong with me, because my parents think there is nothing wrong with it.

I got home from work and took a nap. I went into the basement and found the couch from upstairs and it was taking up all the space. it a a 3 peice couch and it is only a few years old and they put it there in the way to make room for a new couch. first off, it is like a new couch they is no need to buy a new one, not to mention we don't have money to spend. they alway put what they don't want in the basement, they don't go in the basement is just a storage bin to them, but it is where I spend most of my time. i know, maybe they want a change, but when you make a purchase you are suppose think about the future and how long the item will be kept. a couch at $4,000 better be used more a few years! this is common with my family and it make me mad!

very true, if something break I try to fix it and most of the time I do. I fixed the dishwasher months back and it works fine, but the parents keep saying it is time for a new one. Why get rid of something that still has use?
