but you can keep going. It doesn't have to be like it is right now. People care and will help you be strong. Take small steps, small steps. Write down concrete things are eating away at you, not just feelings but what's causing the feelings. You can do this, you are stronger than you are giving yourself credit for. Once you have your list, pick the smallest thing, not the biggest. The easiest thing to change. I know you feel worthless and like it doesn't matter. I've read your blog. But think of this: every person, every single person we have contact with, we leave a mark. Big or small, we leave a mark. You are here for a reason. Who knows what the reason is or what person will read something you've written and it will change their life. If you weren't here, that wouldn't happen. Are you at home? If you are, take a step outside. Even if it's raining. Sit on your porch, change your environment, even for a few minutes. If you are at work, get up and walk around for a minute. You don't have to talk to anyone, just breathe and walk. Have one good thought during that time. If you can start with only one positive thought a day, that's a start. Sweetie, you can do this, but it doesn't have to be the same way you're doing it now. I'm so sorry you're hurting.

What is "this" to you? Can you explain what it is that you feel you can't handle, and then maybe we can discuss how to change it.

Yes, the depression includes anger and feelings of worthlessness, which can result in self harming behavior. It's sad to see you so sad and feeling so bad.
What about your life that is so horrible, can you share that too? It's not that I don't believe you feel bad, because I do believe you. It's that I am hoping to help you find the current cause of your depressive mood. Did something happen recently that made you feel more depressed?
Have you read the basic "cognitive distortions" that increase depression, and if you work on can help alleviate the dark feelings? There's a sticky post at the top of the psychotherapy forum. They are basic statements that a therapist could use to help you too. I hope your depression lightens up so you can grab some good air. (((hug)))
