((((((((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Just wanted to let you know that I do read, but haven't found a lot of time to respond to posts - and for that I do apologize.

Love you all a lot - remember: today may be bad, and you may feel crappy - but that is just how you feel in the moment *now* - it doesn't need to be constant. It sounds cliche, but tomorrow *can* get better!

I'm going to share something big that I figured out for myself today and actually said it out loud - and it's a big thing for me, so don't laugh but -

Feeling crappy does NOT mean I am crappy.
How I feel does NOT make me that feeling. My feelings are fluid and always changing, but who I am (inherently good, which we all are) is pretty constant. I can feel crappy without thinking I am crappy now - and that's a big thing for me. So thought I'd share.

Thanks for sharing that...I didn't laugh - okay, I smiled since it was a kind gentle reminder for me not to go painting myself with my feelings. I am more than that... thanks for sharing and for the reminder .
Much appreciated!

dear christina86

i smiled with affection not a laugh in sight. i practically live for the "ah ha!" moments. they are what i keep going to my T in search of; those are moments of triumph that herald the coming of new things.

i learned not too long ago that "discovery is not recovery". i used to think that when the light bulb in my head came on i had done the work and things were supposed to be ok now. but in reality the light bulb awareness if the "discovery" of something and now i will have to do the WORK of recovery. that may seem like a tiny downer, but it is just reality. to take advantage of the ah ha's i must work to make them a genuine part of how i live and then the discovery becomes a valid part ofmy recovery and that is an ongoing triumph!

hooray for you and THANKS for sharing your great insight!

someone else told me "feelings make great workers, but lousy bosses". short little slogans seem to help me remember important concepts much better. hooray for wisdom on wings!

I still have the warm and fuzzies, and my life is sorta making sense now, which is *reallllly* nice ... but then I come here and see all these nice messages from people to me and I just have to say...

Y'all TOTALLY ROCK. And I love you a whole bunch, simply because you accepted me when I didn't even want to know how to start to "like" myself. I wish I had more friends like you, that stick with you through all sorts of things - and me making a fool of myself - and still love me.
