I went to a meeting today with a general practitioner who focuses on psych meds. I missed the first appointment I made with her a bit back. Wasn't the best experience but I made it to the appointment

I posted a question about drugs in the drug forum because I'm both cautious about trusting a school based person as far as meds, and because I'm afraid of what meds will do to me, even though at this point I NEED to try them and I know that.
It's just scary too.
I'm hoping I'll make it to my therapist today too, it always worries me when Ihead over to her now because theres a good chance she makes me feel worse about things and hopeless.
And my boyfriend is coming and there's so much going on... everythings at a tough spot.

Anyway there's what's going on and a little ranting I needed to do. If anyone has advice about meds or anything general, woud GREATLY appreciate feedback here or on drug forum if specific to meed

meep! no scared face on post icons either 0.0

HEY Turquoisesea;

Sorry, I have been on two anti-depressor, one worked good but I was taken off to see if they were making my headaches worse and the other one isn't working well at all. The best person to as is your therapist or go into the resources and check out the list of meds there and read up on them. Each person react different to meds, so take them on a day you don't have to do much so you can see what reaction you get, most like none but you never know.

I agree. Everyone reacts differently. I am on like 4 meds so I couldn't tell you. First I was just on two, and then I needed help in another area. It takes a few weeks before some of them even kick in so you might not notice anything at first. Take care.
