does anyone feel like they don't know who they are, what they want or what their purpose is. I've felt that all my life...I don't know where I belong or what friends to make...I just exist...but there's no meaning

I get this a lot, actually. Just a warning, this may or may not help you.

When you look at humans biologically, our purpose is to reproduce and ensure our offspring are able to do the same. Survival, as it were. Unfortunately, human survival is so much more complicated than other animals. We have to get a job to provide for food (other people do the hunting for us these days). We believe to get good jobs, our children have to grow up and go to good schools to give them a chance to go to a better university.

It's a little crazy in my opinion, but that's our biological purpose. That said, we're here. We're living. That's all we have to do. I often feel like we're looking for more of a purpose that does not necessarily need to be there. We've got an opportunity to exist. It's such a rare event, when you think about it. Now that we've got it, I say our purpose is to take advantage of it... get out there and experience all these different things that are out there; experience all these different places, cuisines, activities. Ever eaten a boiled duck fetus? Neither have I, but I just heard from a friend today that it's a delicacy in the Philippines. Ever walked the Great Wall of China? Me neither. It's on my to-do list.

I'm just saying, there are many things to do in life, and if you're having trouble finding a purpose, just look at all of the awesome experiences there are out there and ask yourself if you've experienced them yet. If you haven't, go for it! It's a purpose, and it can keep you going and actually keep you content with where you're at

HUGS and I hope this helps in some way. If it doesn't, I apologize. Feel free to PM me too if you want to talk more ^_^

Take care!

I feel like that often. I agree with delicious dish but a duck fetus? Ugh! I'm a vegetarian, this really grosses me out.
