It may have won the battle, but not the war. You retreated, you didn't give in. I know you have the strength to pull back, gather yourself again and go forward. Have you taken the medication yet? Try taking some benedryl--it's not prescription--before bed to help you get some sleep. That's what I had to do when I didn't sleep for three days straight because I was scared of the nightmares. It worked.

Look at all the positives that have happened for you recently. Even the horrible experience of making your way home to find you didn't have a key had many, many positives in it. The 'dolphins', the staff there, your new class, talking to people there. You've come to far to give in. You're simply resting from fighting and that's ok, as long as you know that you will get back in there!

Hey Silver;
I know it's hard when your best friend is not around anymore, but in someways he/she is, your bf is in your heart, mind and pictures. It will take sometime, but the pain will leave and the sun will shine bright again for you. You need to sleep and take care of yourself, your friends here at PC need and want you around.

Hugs
Cindy

I'm sorry hugs to youYou do need to get some sleep. If the benadryl doesn't work I've also at one time used Melatonin-it's a dietary supplement that promotes sleep. It's near the vitamins and things.
One of my vulneralbilities before I SI is lack of sleep. When I do not sleep I have worse judgment, am more likely to get really depressed, (athough sometimes I get a rush when I don't sleep), I'll let things get to me more, I won't think of better ways to cope,I'll start feeling unreal and I'll SI just to know I am, etc. GET SOME SLEEP it won't solve anything but you'll be better able to cope. hope this helps.
Thanks for this!
