I hurt much, i am thinking of ending my life. I went out with my support person and we looked at the things my T and i did and it was asking her for a hug and after she looked at it I asked her and she said NO i don't do that! It is only a damn hug, what the hell? she is worthless to me and i am worthless anyway, if i had a way i'd be gone!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Many professionals are bound by rules and regulations that forbid that sort of contact incase it is taken the wrong way or is inappropriate. Don't take it personally, I'm sure you are very loveable. Hang in there.

pegasus is right. before I retired from psychiatric nursing, it was the number one rule...other than restraints, no physical contact. It's protection for the client/patient and for the professional, whether that professional is the physician or nurse or tech... that said, I'm sorry it hurt you! many times we do want to hug the person going through a rough time yet it's against the law...please understand that it has nothing to do with you you are a worthwhile human being and deserve to be shown respect. don't doubt that, please. please keep us posted. sharing is so helpful to all of us... My dear friend, I am sorry that you are hurting. I agree with others that said that she is probably bound by some law or policy that prevents her from doing hugs. You are not worthless at all and I find you very loveable, you are a great guy and friend.
