.......... that one person can perceive the same life around them in a completely different way than another person? Is it just looking through the eyes of depression or is it something else? Take just a simple venture out into any public situation, for example. I get the general sense of this non caring, aggressive, "I've got mine", @#$% you attitude. If not that, there's this sense of apathy. Then I see people going around, seemingly as happy as can be, not being bothered by all these things I mentioned that make me not even want to leave the house sometimes. The main thought running through my mind is "Don't people see how this society is coming apart right in front of their own eyes?" NOW, is it really just the depression talking or is it that maybe some of us are more sensitive and pick up on things most are not tuned in to?

I thinl ppl have a tendency to look through rose colored glasses so they don't have to see the real world

sweetie, it's call DENIAL Why is it ...... and it is not a river.....plus i do think we're more sensitive Why is it ...... because we've had to protect ourselves for so many years.......i know that i have a friend that absolutely causes me to drop my jaw concerning her reactions to the world around us. i also see a big difference between "reaction" and "response".....a lot of people only react.....that's a knee jerk thing..then they just go on.....i'm appalled Why is it ...... when someone tells me that the war is a good thing because their "oil" checks increase....duh? Why is it ...... a good thing????? Why is it ...... it's that sort of thing that blow my mind. hang in there and keep posting.....we're all in this together. pat

I wish I could get some rose colored glasses but once you've taken them off, they can't be put back on again.

Pat, I like the way you think. I don't want to get started about boy Bu$h and his clan. The way the sheeple are being deceived by their true motives is enough to make anyone sad.

I think it might depend on the person too. Like if i go somewhere with someone and we come to a place she would say "Wow beautiful furnuture" while I will see the flowers in the small vase.

It can depent on a lot of things. How we were raise, where we were raise, what is important to us, what happened in our life.

I know for myself I'm very sensitive and people feelings are more important for me then what they wear. A lot of people also hide their feelings inside while they seem happy they are hurting inside. I'm one of these people.

A lot of people are very good actors. And a lot are happy.

Take good care of yourself. I'm glad you are here with us.
Hugs!
