Sigh. Feel like crying, not sure why. Tears won't come anyway for some reason. I guess I'm feeling overwhelmed as well as personal life things. I left the day after Christmas to go to Florida with my folks and got back yesterday. The weather was great--the interactions were not. I have been doing what work I can from here tonight so I'm not totally swamped tomorrow when I get in to work. Maybe that's it. Maybe it's my personal life. I don't know but I know I'm feeling really down today. Just needed to write it out.

Thank you very much! You'd think just coming off a vacation I would have taken care of myself, but I was too "on alert" to put out fires from my mother's mouth! Thank you again.

I have experienced those kind of feelings after returning from a vacation, I am not sure what caused it but I am sending you lots of hugs.

Thank you! And it's not even that I'm sad the vacation is over. It was awesome sitting in the sun, but the 5 of us in a 5th-wheel camper for 6 days was more than enough. I guess it's just gearing up for the mess of being gone from work for almost two weeks. I don't know.

i know that sometimes the holidays create a build up of expectations-some good and some not so good, particularly if family is involved. i think you're experiencing some of the "boomerang effect", i call it, of all that being over. anyway i'm sure that once you get back to work things will fall into their regular pace and perhaps you'll better right away. i hope so.

Hey you!

I'm glad that you got to have a holiday, away from some of the stresses. It always helps. But with the work and stuff to do, I can relate to that. It's good that you're getting some of the work done at home so you're not too bogged down at work, though. Well done!

I hope that at the very latest, byt the end of the week, things start to get easier.

Big hugs to you, sweety
Thanks for this!

Oh how I do understand. Only my tears seem to come very readily. I keep getting my fabric all wet when I'm sewing or smear the pictures when I'm drawing. And the biggest @)_#))(#*&$*( is that the tears don't help me feel any better.

Maybe going back to work will help relieve that overwhelmed feeling. When I was working it was sort of an outlet for me. I always had things to do that didn't require thinking just doing so brain was put on hold.

Yes, our Florida weather has been very nice lately....well as long as you weren't in northern FL freezing your bum off.
