Ok, Another post today lol

So about 6 months ago I fell down the stairs and hurt my back, I was fine for about a month and a half. Unfortunatley the pain came back. It feels like there is a metal pole stuck in my lower back. I think it could be a pinched nerve but it goes on and off this has been happening for about 5 months and it hurts really bad. sometimes I can;t move or do things. I know that depression has alot of symptoms and neck and back pain are often associated with it. I cant really see my doctro becasue hes an idiot but If its psychological I think I will get rid of it faster lol.

What do you think?

Thanks'

Roman

(((((((((((((((( RomanJames ))))))))))))))))))))

It could be psychological but I would think that it would be best to have the physical aspect of it checked out to be safe, I know that is what my T has me do in this situation.

2004, I think you should see your Primary Care Physician and let him make the decision as to whether you have a pinched nerve, herniated spinal disc, or something else. Your PCP may examine you and/or order an MRI or CT Scan himself or refer you to a Neurologist or other specialist in spinal field. Anyway, your back is nothing to be cavalier about. About 3-4 years ago, I had a problem with my back and complained for years to my PCP. I finally changed PCP and was referred to a Neurologist who ordered: 1) a spinal X-Ray, 2) CT Scan, and 3) an MRI. The MRI indicated I had a herniated & bulging disc, Degenerative Disc Disease, and some other problems. I'm not trying to scare you. I just want to see your PCP ASAP so you can find out what the problem is.
